BRADYCARDIA

Bradycardia represents a heterogeneous group of sinus node and atrioventricular conduction disorders resulting from impaired impulse formation and/or propagation. Clinical relevance is determined by the underlying substrate, degree of conduction system disease, and associated hemodynamic impact, with advanced bradyarrhythmias contributing to syncope, heart failure syndromes, and malignant bradyasystolic events.

OUR COMMITMENT

At Abbott, we are concerned with improving your patients’ safety, comfort and quality of life and have implemented several pacemaking solutions to meet their needs. Our range of pacemakers and pacemaker leads elevate the standard of patient care through new algorithms and technology intended to improve patient safety and therapy assurance.

AVEIR leadless pacemakers1,2,3

Ventricular pacing with AVEIR™ leadless pacemakers (LPs) is indicated for patients with significant bradycardia and normal sinus rhythm with only rare episodes of atrioventricular (AV) block or sinus arrest.

AVEIR™ AR ATRIAL LP

  • SND and normal atrioventricular (AV) and intraventricular conduction systems

AVEIR™ VR VENTRICULAR LP

  • Significant bradycardia and normal sinus rhythm with only rare episodes of AV block or sinus arrest
  • Chronic atrial fibrillation

AVEIR™ DR DUAL CHAMBER LP SYSTEM

  • Sick sinus syndrome
  • Chronic, symptomatic 2nd- and 3rd- degree AV block
  • Symptomatic bilateral bundle-branch block when tachyarrhythmia and other causes have been ruled out
Transvenous pacemakers

Transvenous pacemakers (TP) treat bradycardia by delivering electrical impulses through leads placed in the heart via the venous system.

Abbott advanced pacemaker systems: Assurity™ MRI, Endurity™ MRI, and Zenex™ MRI are designed for reliable rhythm management and long-term performance. These systems combine pulse generators with pacing leads to ensure stable sensing and stimulation.

Tailored therapy is supported across the Abbott portfolio with programmable features and remote monitoring via Merlin.net™ Patient Care Network. Together, these elements provide proven, effective bradycardia treatment with optimized patient management.

Conduction system pacing

Conduction system pacing (CSP) delivers electrical stimulation directly to the heart’s native conduction pathways (His bundle or left bundle branch) to restore physiological activation. The Abbott UltiPace™ Cardiac Lead and CPS Locator™ Catheter portfolio enables precision placement and consistent outcomes for CSP.

These devices offer sensing and pacing for the management of chronic symptomatic bradycardia and various atrioventricular conduction abnormalities in patients who experience syncope, presyncope, fatigue, or disorientation due to arrhythmia/ bradycardia, or any combination of these symptoms.
